Featured Plane

May 2008

Our featured plane for May 2008 is the X-1 Rocketplane (actually a pusher prop, but who's quibblin?) by burkefj (or Frank) from RCGroups.com. What better plane to have as our very first "Featured Plane" than a profile replica of the first airplane to break the sound barrier?

Frank tells us that he exclusively uses Spektrum 6100 or 6100E receivers, and either Towerpro 9gm or Hitec HS-55 servos in his planes. He has self-described soft spot for "X" planes, as well as planes developed in the 50's and 60's.
